It has not been an automatic upgrade to rookie, only a small bug :).
First rookie game will start in a few hours and then open to free enroll with users with karma > 30. Initial preenrollment is allowed for the TengagedReunion members, as posted in this forum.

Which worries me a little because i'm not in any alliances right now. Although i do have plenty of tengaged friends. Maybe we'll end up in the same game and can team up sometime or something. I hadn't even noticed with the 3 of use being at the top there's a huge target on us and everyone will what us out soon. Technically we are the royal figures on tengaged right now.. I now see where ttender was coning from with the whole washed out celebrity thing. Hahahah. Lol..
